Oh, and they were less expensive than the Weather Techs. Both brands are tough, Xacts work for me for the reasons above. The DuraGrip product remains more pliable in freezing temperatures, while the Weatherbeater becomes stiffer and suffers from curling a bit more in extremely cold temperatures. Car/truck floors are going to look like hell anyway if you drive at all, particularly in Montana. The X-Act Contour is made with a special rubber material called DuraGrip, and the Weatherbeater is made from thermoplastic olefins or TPO. I wasn’t a fan of the rigid material but was of the protection I’m assuming the WT HP are relatively new. I was planning to get the Husky X act contour mats but just noticed the new WT HP mats provide the same rubber type material. I don't care how it looks and it doesn't look bad. Does anyone have experience with the new weather tech HP floor mats. The Exact seems just as thick as when first bought although there is a dent where the heel goes. They looked so much better though than the Xacts, NOT. the process involved cussing, head scratching, seat moving and more cussing. I saw a guy trying to get them out at the car wash. Weather Techs? You would have to first get a towel and get most of the nasty stuff out before you could get the Weather techs out and by then, you wouldn't need to do anything except throw the towel out or wash it. You will appreciate that lip that comes out over the edge of the door bottom. They come out no problem, fold as you take them out and just dump and put back in, and the floor is pristine. Winter in Montana is a mess and every warm day (about four of them between December and April) I would take them out and dump the slush/water/dirt. Hopefully someone can chime in and give some input on fit. I'm also curious about the fit of the Husky Weatherbeater mats with rubberized floors. They likely need separate molds for rubberized floors vs carpeted floors. I switched them to the new crew cab they are Xact for and have kept going with them. I'd really like Husky to take a 2nd look at their scans or whatever they use to mold the mats. I bought originally for my quad cab that they were not supposed to fit "exactly." I couldn't tell. I have the Xacts now into the third year.
